On this walking tour you’ll learn about the city’s earliest beginnings that gave Kansas City the name Cowtown. We’ll explore the Stockyard Exchange Building and get a glimpse of the Rock Island Bridge project, KC’s newest entertainment district opening soon.
When the cold starts to creep in, we’ll pop into an antique shop or boutique to warm up. If you’ve never explored this part of Kansas City, join us! It’s a surprising neighborhood!
Mobility challenge: Many of the old warehouses have uneven flooring and stairwells. The sidewalks and streets in the area can be uneven, too. We’ll walk approximately 2-miles on this tour.
